Here's my detailed review as promised.

Instruments need more stereo widening. The choice of snare drum used was not appropriate as it felt lifeless. You could have just used reverb and compressed the shit out if it.

Mix was well balanced - nothing too drastic standing out. I'm not a nazi against repetitiveness, so I thought the track was pretty good in general.

Right. That snare drum did it for me. Never before have I heard such a weak and pathetic snare drum in my life, especially in a rock song. And, dear god...that kick drum is pumping as hell. It practically ruined the experience to otherwise what could have been a decent song. Sort it out man.
